Thank you for the sharing your suggestions on charities to partner the Downspout Safety Caps with. Though they were all great causes and I'd love to be able to support them all, we've chosen to go with Habitat for Humanity.
Habitat for Humanity is a program that is ties into the Downspout Safety Cap as it is a home improvement item and allows us to give them a product they can use and we can contribute year round, nationally. Few Minnesotans care about downspouts in January, when they're buried under 3 feet of snow..
Stay tuned for goals, such as how many Habitat Humanity houses we hope to outfit w/DSCs and how you can help us reach those goals.
