Got a Favorite Charity We Can Help?

I'm big on tying business endeavors to worthy causes. Nothing helps you sell more than knowing it's about more than the bottom line, each sale you close helps a cause that needs it.

With NewMom, we donated a percentage of profits to the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery and employed Opportunity Partners to assemble and deliver the congratulations gifts.  It was easy to choose both of those causes.  I volunteered at the Crisis Nursery for many years before I had my babies and I used to work as a Personal Care Attendant for a boy with Down Syndrome, which I truly enjoyed.

I've been trying to think of a cause for my Downspout Safety Caps to support.  Though, gutters don't generate a lot of ideas for me, our 'slogan' if you will, is "Keep It Safe".  Which got me thinking maybe we could tie the caps into causes that keep kids safe?  Or maybe Habitat for Humanity? Homelessness? 

I don't know all of the causes out there and I don't belong to any mommy-boards where I could post the question w/out it looking like I'm trying to sell something so I thought the NewMom readers would be the perfect resource to help me find and choose a charity for the Downspout Safety Caps to help.
