This story struck a chord in me. www.momlogic.com posted a story about a mother committing suicide because she felt judged by her peers. You can find the whole story at http://su.pr/4K3fap. The author of momlogic made this statement: "I vow to support mothers everywhere. To not judge but to offer compassion, understanding and help."
In my nine years as a mother, I am guilty of judging others. It happened last year. It happened last week. It happened today. I am aware of it and I try to curb it. What gives me the right to pass judgment? I haven't walked a mile in her shoes. I haven't taken the log out of my eye before seeing the speck in hers. I don't know what happens behind closed doors. I need to make this vow a reality for myself. I encourage all you mothers to join me and make your own personal vow.
